Inner Joy Yoga is a small community-based class for people who want to slow down, move mindfully and feel better in their body and mind. The class combines slow yoga flow, gentle stretching, breathwork and meditation. It is designed to feel calming and supportive, but also enjoyable, energising and beneficial for physical health.

About the teacher

Yang Song-Karlik

Inner Joy Yoga is guided by Yang Song-Karlik, whose style is encouraging, gentle, breath-centered and warm. The aim is to create a welcoming space where people can release pressure, enjoy mindful movement, and reconnect with inner peace and joy.

200 hours yoga teacher training, 2014, Bojiafan Yoga Academy, Shenyang, China

Currently learning handpan with Sherif Elmoghazy, as part of her wider meditative practice

Do I need yoga experience?

No. The class is beginner-friendly and you can practise at your own pace.

Is this a workout?

It is gentle, but yes, there is mindful movement. The class supports flexibility, mobility, posture, balance, light strength and body awareness, while also including breathwork and meditation.
